About 9,000 people live in Elsterwerde. The city is a major railway junction, where the lines Berlin - Prague and Leipzig - Cottbus intersect.
The presented shopping center consists of two parts: the shopping center "Elster Center" (area 20,120 sq.m.) and the furniture hypermarket Hoffmann
with a warehouse on the same site (16 200 sq.m.).
The object was built in 1991, in 2012, major repairs were carried out. About 7 million euros was invested in the replacement of the heating system,
ventilation and air conditioning, as well as the replacement of electricians, pipelines and floor coverings.
The shopping center includes 21 stores, among them a large fashion center (AWG Modecenter), which presents various
brands of clothing, footwear and accessories, a building store Toom, a shop of Medimax equipment, a hypermarket REWE and a furniture hypermarket Hoffmann.
This is the only shopping center of such a plan in the area, which makes it very popular among locals.
All shops are in long-term lease and bring a stable income.
There is a parking for 2,000 people.
